Citizens of most European Union countries, and Countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States can enter for a short stay without a visa. What are the document requirements for Armenia e-visa?

If you are coming from visa exempt countries then you do not need a visa but if you are coming from non visa exempt country then you should apply Armenia e-visa. For Armenia visa requirements, you need the following documents before applying to Armenia e-visa. 

• A valid passport with the validity of 6 months. 

• Passport size two photographs. 

• You have to provide an arrival or return ticket.

• You must have to provide proof of Accommodation.

How can you apply for an Armenia e-visa?

The Armenia visa application process is very simple and straightforward and it can be done online from anywhere. Follow the following steps to apply the e-visa securely. 

• First, you should fill the application form online with the basic details such as passport number, material status, name, date of birth, etc.

• Now, you have to upload the required documents (mentioned above) and review the application before paying the fee.

• After that, you have to pay a processing fee with the E-payment system. You can pay with a Visa Mastercard, Discover card, American Express, Paypal, Credit or Debit card. 

• Submit the application. You will receive a confirmation mail with reference number and it will take 3 business days for processing.

How can you check e-visa status?

If you want to know the status of your application whether it is pending or approved then you can check easily online. You will receive a reference number of your application after submitting  the application. Simply go to the website, fill the applicant or reference number and enter captcha, you will see your application status. If your application is approved then you will receive e-visa via your email. You have to print the copy of e-visa and show it during the entry in Armenia. 

Can Armenia e-visa extend? 

Generally, Armenia does not allow or extend your e-visa but if you want to stay more than you have to apply for a visa extension application before the current e-visa expires. This process can not be done online, you need to go to the office. Sometimes, you need to present your documents, so make sure you carry your required document.

Schengen Visa Holders

If you hold a Schengen visa and want to visit Armenia then you can easily enter Armenia because of an agreement with the European Union. It will allow you to stay visa free for up to 90 days within 180 days. If you want to stay longer then you have to apply for a visa for Armenia because Schengen does not grant the access for stay exceeding 90 days. 

TRC Card Holders

TRC (Temporary Resident Card) is a document that allows foreign visitors to live in Armenia for a limited period with the purpose of work, study and family reintegration. If you hold a TRC from an EU or Schengen member country then you do not need an e-visa and get a visa on arrival. But if you hold a TRC from another country who is not a part of the Schengen Area then you need to apply for an Armenia visa.
